Are we confident?

As a teenager we at times feel worthless, we feel as if our confidence is shattering. These times are the hardest when you start questioning yourself. At times we can’t find the answers to these questions, but mostly we don’t want to. Today we live in a world where every next person you know is a so called healthy critic of yours. It seems hard at times to confident with so much criticism isn’t it? But my friend here’s the twist, when you try to understand that what is confidence exactly, you will that it is the ability to stand alone, to believe in ourselves even at the times when the whole world is opposite to you!

But then this means that when you underwent the true test of your confidence you gave up, or did you? At times we feel that we are confident, we feel as if we are above the world and that failure will never even come up on our path to success. This type of mentality isn’t of a confident person, but of a person who is overconfident and here comes the biggest twist! A person who is overconfident is in reality the same person who is under confident.

Only difference is that an overconfident person lives with a fake mask of confidence which comes off at the slightest gush of hardship. So at times questioning ourselves is good, its good to know who we really are. It’s also better to take off your mask of fakeness on your own. Though it is a very difficult thing to do. People say that reality is harsh, and my friends the statement isn’t false, but reality is real, so it’s what really matters! Staying confident is really necessary, because remember when you will do something, all these critics which live around you will start bickering and that is the ultimate test of your confidence.
